Lea has been dancing competitively since the age of 5, as part of the renowned Larkin Dancers. At the age of 9, she has already trained with some of the best choreographers in the business, including Manny Castro, Theresa Stone, Al Blackstone, Rudy Abreu, Nick Lazzarini and Marinda Davis. Lea has won numerous first place awards and Titles, including Petite Miss Dance America (age 8), and Mini Miss Dance Explosion (age 6). She has received individual scholarships from JUMP/ Break the Floor Productions in NYC, as well as an individual Power Pak Invitation from Star Dance Alliance, an honor which is only given to a select group of top dancers throughout the country.
Lea found her passion for singing and acting at Annie’s Playhouse at 7 years old. She has been training with Annie Forgione and Steven Bednasz in their Broadway Series, Musical Theatre Masters, and Summer Camp programs, as well as private acting and voice coaching.
Lea has developed a love of the stage and camera. She has appeared on television as an NBC Today Show guest in a segment called “Hot Holiday Toys.” Live stage performances include Mayo Performing Arts Center production of The Little Mermaid (Audrina), Annie’s Playhouse Vocal Showcases where she has performed solos, trios and group numbers, and has danced in St. Jude’s and Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund Benefits, and over 20 National and Regional Competitions in solos, trios and group dances.
Lea started modeling at age 8, and has modeled for Wild Child Magazine (Nov 2019 Issue 1), Bambuu Kids Clothing Line - Fall 2019 Collection, S&CASTLE Magazine, Smiley Kids Photo, and Studio L Dance Marketing.
Her additional talents include incredible flexibility, tumbling and acro tricks, excellent comedic timing, and voiceover skills. She is learning to play the violin and cello this year, and loves spending time with her friends, her brother, her cousins, and her American Girl Dolls. In her spare time, she enjoys jumping on her trampoline, riding her scooter, reading, skiing, rollerblading and learning “life hacks” on You Tube. Lea hopes to continue her training and pursue her dreams of performing as a career.
